Myosotis is the scientific name for forgetfulness. It is a genus of flowering plants in the borage family Boraginaceae, with some species growing in water. The word myosotis comes from the Greek words "mya" which means "forgetfulness" and "sōtēs" which means "seer".

The family contains over 100 species of annual or perennial herbaceous plants, with most native to Europe and Asia, but with a few species found in North America and South Africa. Myosotis scorpioides, also known as forget-me-not or myosotis azurea is one of the most common European species.

Til minne om frigjøringa 8.mai 1945 har Duo Riber Horvei fått det ærefulle oppdraget av Voss Herad og NVIO å laga ei digital markering som helsing til veteranene på frigjerings- og veterandagen i 2021. 

Norsk Veteranforbund for internasjonale Operasjonar er Noregs største interesseorganisasjon for militært personell som har deltek i internasjonale  operasjonar - og deira pårørande.  

Den norske frigjeringsdagen er ein nasjonal fridag i Norge, og vert feira 8. mai kvart år. Dagen markerer frigjeringa av Norge frå Nazi-Tyskland under andre verdenskrig. Det er ikkje til å forveksle med den norske grunnlovsdagen som fell på 17. mai.
Norge vart invadert av Nazi-Tyskland 9. april 1940 og var okkupert i fem år. Ei regjering leia av Vidkun Quisling freista å samarbeide med okkupantene, men den vart til slutt styrta av den norske motstandsrøyrsla i 1945. Quislings namn har sidan vorte synonymt med «forræder».

På programmet står mellom anna Harald Sæverud sin "Kjempeviseslått" som er en militærmarsj som tradisjonelt vert spelt ved seremonier av det norske forsvaret, mellom anna anna ved minnemarkeringa for kong Olav V, og Nordahl Griegs dikt «I dag står flaggstangen naken».

In memory of the liberation on May 8, 1945, Duo Riber Horvei has been given the honorable assignment by Voss Herad and NVIO to make a digital marking as a greeting to the veterans on the liberation and veterans' day in 2021.

The Norwegian Veterans Association for International Operations is Norway's largest interest organization for military personnel who have participated in international operations - and their relatives.

Norwegian Liberation Day is a national holiday in Norway, and is celebrated on 8 May. The day marks the liberation of Norway from Nazi Germany during World War II. It is not to be confused with the Norwegian Constitution Day, which falls on 17 May.

Norway was invaded by Nazi Germany on April 9, 1940 and was occupied for five years. A government hired by Vidkun Quisling tried to cooperate with the occupiers, but it was eventually overthrown by the Norwegian resistance movement in 1945. Quisling's name has since become synonymous with "traitor".

The program includes a.o. Harald Sæverud's "Kjempeviseslåtten" which is a military march that is traditionally played at ceremonies by the Norwegian Armed Forces, among others at the memorial service for King Olav V, and Nordahl Grieg's poem "Today the flagpole is naked".
